Position Overview

Management Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead data, analytics, and digital solution workstreams for government and commercial clients. You will define problems, analyze complex data, engage stakeholders, and turn insights into practical solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies.
This role is designed for professionals with 4+ years of relevant experience who can lead a workstream independently while coordinating contributors and client communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client workstreams from problem definition through analysis, recommendation, and implementation.
  • Structure ambiguous business and operational challenges into clear questions, analyses, and priorities.
  • Clean, combine, and analyze data to identify trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead stakeholder interviews and working sessions to gather requirements, test findings, and build alignment.
  • Translate insights into recommendations, executive presentations, performance measures, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
  • Build solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and related Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Manage priorities, dependencies, risks, contributors, and client communications to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, business, engineering, information systems, mathematics, public policy, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, professional certifications, and directly applicable experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in consulting, analytics, business analysis, digital solutions, operations, or a related role.
  • Experience independently leading at least one workstream or complex analytical project from problem definition through recommendation or implementation.

Clearance

Assignments may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, Secret, or DOE L clearance, depending on the client and contract. Candidates with an active or recently held federal clearance are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience analyzing data and building Power BI reports and dashboards for business stakeholders.
  • Experience building or configuring solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, or related technologies.

Professional Skills

  • Experience facilitating requirements, discovery, or working sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience presenting findings and recommendations to client stakeholders, including senior leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting, professional services, or another client-facing analytical environment.
  • Experience with Power Query, DAX, SQL, Python, data modeling, KPI development, forecasting, or scenario analysis.
  • Experience analyzing financial, workforce, project, program, operational, or performance data.
  • Experience supporting federal, defense, national laboratory, or other regulated clients.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst), PL-200 (Power Platform Functional Consultant), CBAP, or PMP.

Work Authorization

U.S. citizenship is required for assignments subject to federal contract and/or security clearance requirements. Specific requirements will be confirmed before an assignment begins.

Working Conditions

This position is remote. Employees will be required to use a computer and other office equipment for extended periods. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and operate standard office equipment.
