The Testing Consultant enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle.  Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

   The Testing Consultant will be responsible for the following
  • Performing test events, including System Integration Test (SIT), User Acceptance Test (UAT), Site Validation Test, and Mission Acceptance Test
  • Performing formal test reviews, including Test Readiness Review and Post Test Review
  • Performing test strategy activities, including Requirements Verification & System Validation, Customer Requirements Validation, Test Case Development, Test Incident Identification & Management, Test Incident Report (TIR) Processing, and Test Metrics Management
  • Compiles or develops test cases for Test Plan
  • Identifies, documents, and prioritizes defects according to Test Lead guidance
  • Conducts tests in accordance with Test Plan
  • Prepares and provides regular status updates to Test Lead Inputs test results to test tools
  • Tracks progress of test execution and test results in applicable test tools Evaluates efficiency of testing software and recommends alternative solutions

What you will need…

  • U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain a government security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 6+ years of experience in system testing with a focus on automation testing to include any of the following:
    • Experience authoring Test cases and documenting test results – preferred with experience with AzureDevOps
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies and software testing processes
    • Understanding of the various aspects of the system development life cycle (SDLC)
    • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control (AzureDevOps)
  •  Must be detail-oriented and a team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Location:
  • This position is remote, with the expectation that candidates can work during Eastern Time Zone office hours. Residency in the United States is a mandatory requirement
