Job Title: Enterprise Cloud Architect & Product Lead
Location: This is a work-from-home position for someone who lives in the Washington, DC area and can commute as needed for meetings in Washington, DC. 

Position Summary:
We are seeking someone with a unique combination of technical skills! Looking for an experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect & Product Lead to drive the architecture, development, and product leadership for our line of IP and products—a critical initiative aimed at transforming how we deliver efficiencies for our clients.  This is a strategic role that will be a key technology strategist within our firm. This hybrid role is ideal for a candidate who looks at systems holistically and possesses both enterprise-level architectural experience and product management capabilities. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic consultant, offering high-level system design support while also leading integration efforts, automations, and workflow optimizations across the organization. 


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, enterprise-level systems that align with business strategy.
  • Architect scalable, enterprise-grade solutions utilizing AWS GovCloud, Azure and SharePoint to support advanced data reporting and predictive analytics in a highly secure and dynamic environment.
  • Build robust customer-facing portal and reporting tools
  • Function as a technical product manager, managing product lifecycles from conception through delivery.
  • Provide strategic IT consulting services to clients, with a focus on system architecture and integration.
  • Develop and optimize workflows and automations to improve organizational efficiency and data flow.
  • Oversee and coordinate end-to-end system integrations between disparate platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and define product roadmaps.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance system performance and scalability.
  • Ensure all solutions are secure, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Manage project scope and ensure timely delivery under tight turnaround times.
  • Guide a cross-functional technical team in full-stack development: backend, frontend, assessments, and reporting interfaces.
  • Design and implement data architecture and cloud workflows to enable predictive analysis, statistics, and real-time reporting.
  • Translate complex client requirements into actionable technical solutions.
  • Develop workflow automation and system integrations to support EfficienCX and PMO portal objectives.
  • Provide system design consultation and IT strategy expertise to elevate enterprise efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to execute and deliver impactful technology outcomes.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, SharePoint Developer) strongly preferred.
Experience:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise IT architecture, systems integration, or technical leadership roles.
  • 5+ years of experience architecting and implementing solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS (including AWS GovCloud) and Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven success delivering complex, secure, and scalable enterprise-grade systems in regulated or mission-critical environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with full-stack development and building customer-facing portals, including backend, frontend, and reporting interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience managing the full product lifecycle in a technical product manager capacity.
  • Extensive experience with data architecture, predictive analytics, and workflow automation.
  • Strong background integrating disparate platforms and tools into cohesive, interoperable systems.
  • Experience working in agile or hybrid development environments with rapid delivery timelines.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in cloud-native architecture patterns and DevOps practices.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS GovCloud and Azure services including IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint integration, workflow tools (e.g., Power Automate), and secure data handling best practices.
  • Strong command of modern programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL).
  • Understanding of enterprise security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional technical teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
  • Experience collaborating with executive stakeholders and translating business goals into actionable technical roadmaps.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and project management skills under tight turnaround times.
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with PMO portal tools and platforms.
  • Prior experience working with government, defense, or high-security clients.
  • Background in consulting or IT strategy roles with client-facing responsibilities.
  • Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
Working Conditions: This position is primarily performed in an office environment or a home office setting. Employees will be required to use a computer and other office equipment for extended periods.
